Connect RTM Resource Data to the Platform!
UPDATE: Use the RTM Designs API to connect your data to the Platform!
Beginning September 2021, RTM Designs customers can automate the connection between their data management application and the National 211 Data Platform.
The RTM Designs API fully automates the movement of data with no involvement from 211 customers, other than requesting an API key from RTM Designs.
A 211 with an account on the NDP shares the key with the NDP support team, who then configures the platform to pull data from RTM Designs. Currently, data
is updated once per week. For customers currently pushging their data to the NDP using the RTM Designs XML export (described below), you can now move to fully automating
this export process usign the API. For more information, contact the support team by email at support@211.org.
Export your data to the platfrom using AIRS XML
(note: this method is only supported for 211s using this method before September 2021)
211s using RTM Designs system can request from RTM Designs an export of their resource data in XML (AIRS XSD) format. The National Data Platform includes an interface
that maps AIRS XSD formatted data to the platform's structure/format. After RTM Designs has created the XML export, 211s log into their NDP account, and upload
the exported data. From there, data is automatically imported and made available through the platform's APIs.
